Have you ever noticed how the craziest things can bring two people closer together? I have learned that no matter what, when you think you know what the other person is thinking, odds are, you don’t. You may be right once in a while but these four little words, “Let’s just be friends”, can knock you down, depending on the type of relationship you have with the other person. Even if you saw it coming in the first place, it still can hit you hard to hear them say those four little words “Let’s just be friends”. Have those four words ever brought you closer to the person you were attracted to? You may be saying no right now and some of you may be saying yes.
“The craziest things can bring two people closer together”. Personally, I respect what the other person says without getting mad or upset. For most people, “Let’s just be friends”, would be the end of the line for them. Either you feel like Trey Songz, “We Can’t Be Friends” or you go with the flow and agree with it. From a personal standpoint, I believe that it’s better to deal with it because you can lose a good friend all together. I personally agree as I have been very attracted to a person and “Let’s just be friends” was mentioned, it was accepted and we became closer. I have no complaints about it because I am learning more and more everyday about this other person and don’t mind being friends at all.
At this point, you should have an idea on how to handle the four little words “Let’s just be friends”. If not, I really wouldn’t know what to tell you. You can have a state of mind that “Yes they’re going to be mine”, but you got to keep in mind that it’s all about respect. If they want to be friends, don’t get mad or frustrated; just take it into consideration with no problems at all. Just being friends gives you the opportunity to get to know the person overall for who they are and maybe, just maybe, the relationship can grow closer in the long run. Besides, wouldn’t you want to know the person you’re with if you do grow closer? I know I would. Believe me, it would be a good way to avoid many relationship problems, due to the knowledge you gained from those four words “Let’s just be friends”.
